去年ぐらいから少しずつ鑑賞していた「北の国から」を、シルバーウィーク中に全て見終わりました。
「北の国から」はTVの放送でも見ていたんだけど、ご存じの通り何年もかけて放送されていたので、かなり忘れてしまっていた。
どうしても最初から通して観たくなって、ドラマ時代〜「2002遺言」までのDVD24枚をレンタルしました。
この休み中に最後の8枚を見終わったというところです。
このドラマの主人公家族の純や蛍は俺とほぼ同じ年代の設定なので、俺が生きてきた時代とリンクし、余計に親近感を覚えて熱中してしまいました。
約20年ぐらいの物語を同じ年代をかけて同じキャストで見せてくれるこのドラマ、他には類を見ない作品だと思います。（「オレゴンから愛」とかってのもありましたが、そちらはあまり知りません）
まぁ、長年かけてってのは作ろうと思えばこれからも作ることはできると思うんだけど、きっと「北の国から」を超えるような良い作品にはならないでしょう。
黒板五郎を演じる田中邦衛をはじめ、かなりの実力派を揃えているキャスティング。
そして、一番大事なのが倉本聰が書いたこの作品の脚本と時代と自然。
・・・あ、それから、さだまさし。
全てが揃って「北の国から」。
内容については、書きたい事が山のようにあって書ききれないし、俺の文章では伝わらないので書きませんが、ひねくれ者の俺が感動するくらいなので、感動できることは間違いありません。
今後同じような内容でドラマを作っても、今の時代では時代錯誤とかってなってしまうんだろうな、と思います。
全部見るのはかなりの時間がかかったけど、やっぱり見て良かった。
また何年かしたら最初から全部見たいと思う作品でした。
このドラマで何度泣かされたことか。
もう続編は無いだろうけど、それでも見たくて気になる作品。
いやぁ、やっぱり「北の国から」は良いね。
